Works well with snapshot 2.2 of oscommerce.

FUNCTION:

This script makes a backup your oscommerce database and emails it to your email address

automatically.

INSTALLATION:

1.) Configure the first 7 php values at the start of backup/cron.php
2.) Upload the backup dir to your website
3.) Chmod the backup dir to 777
4.) Setup the cron command
If you have cpanel the correct cron command is: php -q /home/username/public_html/backup/cron.php
(username is your cpanel login name)

Esta contribuição faz backup do seu Banco de Dados e envia para e-mail.
Extremamente recomendado

Instalação:

1 – Enviar o conteúdo do arquivo “.Zip” para o diretório de sua loja;

2 – Altere a permissão da pasta “/backup” para 755, em alguns casos é necessário colocar 777

3 – Execute manualmente o arquivo para verificar a funcionalidade
Ex: http://www.sualoja.com.br/[diretório de sua loja/]backbanco.php

4 – Se obteve êxito em receber o arquivo em seu e-mail (e-mail proprietário da loja) configure o “cron” de seu cPanel para que a tarefa seja recorrente.
Em meu caso, funciona adequadamente com o comando abaixo:
php -f /home/[seu usuário]/public_html/[diretório de sua loja]/backbanco.php -c /home/[seu usuário]/public_html/[diretório de sua loja]/php.ini

I had to use this PHP.ini to fix this error:
PHP Warning: passthru() has been disabled for security reasons in /home/noname/public_html/catalog/mysqlcron.php on line 15

Instructions are commented in the php.ini


Just upload & use !!

1. I Changed code so that database settings are read from catalog/includes/configure.php,
This saves you having to change the code yourself.

2. I added require('includes/configure.php'); to the file so that the mail settings are read
from the store Configuration Settings

3. re-named the file from cron.php to mysqlcron.php


Instructions

1. Upload the files

2. change file permisions on backup folder to 777

3. Consult your serverinstructions on how to setup a cron file

To run the backup manually goto www.domain.com/catalog/mysqlcron.php

-moved one line of code so that the datestamp works
-changed one line of code so database dumps are stored on server by default

Added instructions in readme file.
